SOLD OUT! Guests will enjoy an intimate screening of The Woman Who Loves Giraffes along with a conversation with the two living legends, Robert Bateman and Anne Innis Dagg, reflecting back on their journey from their meeting at the University of Toronto’s Naturalist Club, to how their unwavering commitment and passion for nature set the course for both their lives’ work.
Internationally acclaimed realist artist, naturalist, and conservationist, Robert Bateman has brought the natural world to vivid life with his unique perspective. His vast body of work—spanning species as large as the buffalo and as small as the mouse—has touched millions of hearts and minds, awakening a reverence for wildlife of all kinds.
Guests will have a Q & A session to interact and connect with Anne and Robert. The event will close off with a print and book signing.
Two never-before-seen giraffe prints by Robert Bateman have recently been made available to the public. Until now, Tall Order and Running Wild, painted in 1960 and gifted to Anne by Robert, have only been displayed in Anne's home. These special limited-edition prints were released for this event and are signed by Robert Bateman.
