Join Mary Dagg, daughter of pioneering giraffe researcher Dr. Anne Innis Dagg, as she shares the remarkable story of her mother, the world’s first “giraffologist.” Through inspiring stories and visuals, Mary highlights Anne’s groundbreaking research, her fight for equality in science, and how the Anne Innis Dagg Foundation continues her legacy in conservation and education today.

South Peel Naturalists’ Club has over 100 active members from Mississauga, Oakville, and surrounding communities. Through our various activities and publications, we provide an opportunity for members to enjoy nature, to expand their knowledge, and to share experiences with other members. Through the Club ’s special interest groups, members learn about specific subjects of interest to them, or become involved in local conservation issues.
