The Day of the Dead is a tradition mainly celebrated in Mexico, where friends and family of the deceased are commemorated with colourful offerings.

This year, the UNAM Canada, the Modern American School (MAS), the City of Gatineau, the Embassy of Mexico, the Anne Innis Dagg Foundation, 104.1 Énergie and 94.9 Rouge will present a monumental altar at the City Hall of Gatineau, accompanied by cultural workshops and other festive activities for the whole family!

The altar celebrates the lives of three amazing women: giraffalogist Anne Innis Dagg, primatologist Jane Goodall and Mexican astrophysicist and science communicator Julieta Fierro.
